so the really really really old cellphone, and tiny mp3 player that i won that is worth probably 50 bucks now, new, that i kept in my bag at work are gone...
i'm not saying anything, but i am not bringing anything to work anymore, including credit cards.
i have to call telus now, get a new phone, get the account info from my dad and get them to switch my account and number, all for a phone that doesn't play games, doesn't play music, doesn't take pictures, doesn't let you download ringtones, is probably a year from being denied service and requires a special cradle to charge, oh and you couldn't even sell it for a penny and i'm sure the battery has already died on it, why people? seriously why? it's only value was in the time it wouldn't take me to replace it, for reals.
as for the mp3 player... are you serious it's one gig, actually less since the actual programming takes up part of its memory space. i won it, and then found out in stores it's worth a cool 50 or so new in box. the only value that had was the freaking music on it, music I like, i don't know about you, new owner...
so my mom and i decided to just look at it as "whee new toys, how great!" and just never bring things to work...
